We strive to providing superlative instruction, both at the individual and class levels, to students, thus sharing our passion for dance. The most important and integral part of dance training. Ballet provides the dancer with the foundation necessary for technically sound training. SheLor is a certified studio through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD), and follows the RAD Grading System in all of its classes with the option of testing.
Tap is a rhythmic style of dance that utilizes tap shoes to make percussive sounds. It concentrates on timing, coordination, and control. Tap is offered to preschool through adult levels. It requires a tap shoe which varies between levels of difficulty. Shoes are sized and can be purchased at SheLor.
Please note that Tap Dance is offered to students of all ages, but is combined into some ballet classes with a Tap Designation.
A modern touch to the classic dance styles, the Jazz and Contemporary Department utilizes dancer's power and body awareness to create visually stunning movement.

Useful skill for any dancer to have in their repertoire, our Acrobatics and Gymnastics syllabus gives dancers the opportunity to learn the more aerobatic styles of dance. SheLor is certified through Acrobatic Arts, and uses their syllabus to guide their classes.
A fun collaboration between the higher level dancers in SheLor (Competition Students). The Production Classes create a large scale number, mixing dance styles and adding SheLor excellence. The choreography is themed to complete a dance for performance and competition.
Pointe is a classical ballet technique done in a specialized ballet shoe called pointe shoes. Minimum ballet classes required is 2 hours per week and is for the intermediate to advanced ballet dancer. Students are carefully selected to study pointe based on their body development and ability.
For our Younger Students (3-7, PreSchool-Primary), our Youth Dance Department offers a terrific age-appropriate introduction to dance and the world of performance.
For those seeking advanced, accelerated, or individual instruction, SheLor provides countless assets that can be used to augment any dancer's learning or preperation for performance.
Fitness classes are offered to maintain an all-around healthy lifestyle. Our dancers use these classes to gain strength and endurance in order to achieve SheLor standards of excellence, These classes are open to EVERYONE: parents, students, and friends!
